Completely free for 3 months
Every feature, every plan set you bid. The automated takeoff reads a vector PDF plan set and measures paving, asphalt by layer, curb and gutter, sidewalk, pavement markings, guardrail, storm drainage, water and sewer by pay item. You check it, correct it and export it to Excel or HeavyBid, all in your browser.
- No credit card. There is no payment form at sign-up and no card to cancel later.
- No strings attached. No auto-renewal, no contract, no surprise invoice when the free months end.
- Companies and individual estimators. A company account covers you and one more estimator.
- 50% off for life after that. Founding members who choose a plan when the free months end keep half price for as long as they subscribe. Subscription pricing is still being set, and it's expected to be much lower than other takeoff software.
Why it's free
Every state's DOT draws its plans differently, and the best way to teach the takeoff engine a state's plans is to have the people who bid there use it. Founding members run their real bids through CivilQuick, and every plan set they run sharpens the engine for their state. That is the whole trade. Your plan sets are never shown to another company.
Faster manual takeoff, even when it misses
It's a beta, so on plans it hasn't seen yet the first pass can miss items or flag more for review. When it does, the manual takeoff tools snap to the plan's real CAD linework instead of making you trace by hand, so finishing an item yourself is still faster than in ordinary PDF takeoff software.
Spots are limited by state
Each state has 3 to 6 founding spots, with more in the states whose plans the engine has seen least. When a state fills, its sign-up page takes a waitlist. Founding spots are for people who bid: a founder who doesn't upload and take off at least one plan set every two weeks is moved out of the beta, and the spot goes to the next person waiting.
Free takeoff questions
Is it really free?
Yes. You get 3 months of full takeoff with no credit card and no payment method on file. Nothing is charged unless you choose a plan when the free months end.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. Sign-up asks for your name, work email, home state and a password. There is no payment step.
What happens after the free months?
You choose a plan or stop. Subscription pricing is still being set, and it's expected to be much lower than other takeoff software. Founding members who stay on keep 50% off for life on top of that. Your projects and takeoffs stay saved either way.
Can I lose my free spot?
Only if you stop using it. Founding spots are limited, so a founder who doesn't upload and take off at least one plan set every two weeks is moved out of the beta and the spot opens for someone on the waitlist.
